Dear Parents,
My name is Gréta, but in my everyday life and work, I go by Mag. I live in Dombóvár, and I am primarily looking for babysitting opportunities in town, or in Kaposvár, and the surrounding areas. I am available for children aged 3 to 12, currently for a maximum of 20 hours per week.

I gained my practical experience within my own family, taking care of and looking after my sibling and cousins. I spent 4 years studying pedagogy in high school in Dombóvár, but decided to pivot after graduation because the rigid, school-oriented curriculum wasn't for me. During my studies, I acquired a solid theoretical foundation in pedagogy, psychology (child development), communication, and health promotion. I am not looking to tutor; my goal is to provide safe and reliable care.

Why do I get along so well with kids?

I am grounded and honest. I approach them without any preconceived expectations - I treat them as equals, individuals, and they are my responsibility. I am happy to care for neurodivergent children based on a detailed prior consultation.

How do I keep your child engaged?

I have an arts background (elementary art school, choir, piano), and since I am currently studying to become a tattoo artist, drawing and painting are a major part of my daily life. I love involving kids in household activities, such as simple baking or tidying up together. I also have a deep love for nature, so during outdoor walks, I enjoy teaching them about birdwatching or identifying wild plants in the garden and parks. On gray days or during evening hours, we can easily pass the time with indoor, cozy activities like storytelling, puppetry, and creative crafts.

Since traveling by train is very easy for me, commuting to Kaposvár is absolutely no problem. If needed, I am also available for overnight care and light cleaning/tidying up after the children.
