About me

At high school I used to specialize in music, then during my college years, I studied foreign languages and translation. After obtaining my Master's degree, I enrolled in a teacher training program, and I am in my graduate year now. Thus, music, languages, learning, education and psychology have defined not only my studies but also my interests and my whole life.

I have been involved with children of different ages for a long time due to my own two younger brothers and helping out with young children in my extended family, I have always got on well with them. I have had the privilege of gaining experience abroad of native speaking environments in several countries, and I have also been involved with teaching Hungarian to children living in the UK. I also gained experience in teaching Hungarian as a foreign language.

I try to use an accepting, playful approach, a combination of both attachment parenting and keeping healthy boundaries, as well as paying attention to the needs of the child. When choosing any outdoor or indoor activity, I always take into consideration children’s age and their main interests. For example, I am happy to take them for walks, to playgrounds, on excursions with the family, but I also have many ideas about how to spend time at home in a joyful and useful way: I like to play games, create art, play board games or even sing and dance with them, according to their needs and abilities. If necessary, I can also help with their schoolwork and tutoring. Thanks to my language skills, I can also communicate with children from foreign and mixed families.
